Every birth and postpartum journey is unique, and my doula services are designed to honour that. I tailor my support around you, your needs and your choices so you feel truly heard, empowered and supported throughout your journey. My birth preparation course is perfect if you want to feel confident, informed, and fully prepared for birth. Your body is amazing and knows exactly how to give birth, my course will help you understand this physiological process, trust it and work with it. This course is face to face if you live in West/North Yorkshire or virtual if you live outside of this area

Guidance to make informed decisions about labour and birth

Help navigating maternity services, ensuring you know your rights and how to advocate for yourself

My doula support will see me present at your birth, ensuring you feel fully supported as you prepare to meet your baby. I will walk beside you throughout your journey; starting in pregnancy, throughout your labour and birth, and into postpartum.

What you will receive:

Everything included in my Birth Preparation Course, plus:

​Emotional support and reassurance during your labour and birth, for both you and your birth partner

Support with comfort measures, including massage, hypnobirthing, position changes, Robozo and aromatherapy.

Help with creating and protecting an Oxytocin boosting birth environment

Practical support during your labour, including making meals, filling water bottles, cleaning up, taking care of older children or pets
-
Keeping in mind your birth preferences and helping you to achieve them
-
Protecting your birth space and advocating for you where needed

Setting up and clearing away the birth pool
-
Ensuring you have time and space to bond with baby and/or have your first breastfeed following birth

Taking photos and videos

Signposting to relevant services and evidence-based resources
Birth Doula Package
Full Doula Package Includes:

On call from 38 weeks until your baby is born

Support during your labour and birth, at home or in hospital

1 x 2 hour postpartum debrief (within the first 2 weeks after birth)

Hypnobirthing Masterclass

Mini Breastfeeding Masterclass (or 20% off the full class) if needed

Phone, text and email support from booking until 8 weeks postpartum

Postpartum Care
My postpartum support is designed to ensure you are feeling emotionally and physically well as you recover from birth and start your transition to parenthood. I am here to hold you, as you hold your baby. I want to get that Oxytocin flowing to help you feel rested, calm and connected to your new baby. The care provided is tailored to you and your unique needs, and may be different at every session - you can even decide on the day!
